Automated Trading Consent

Version: 1.0Effective: 22 June 2026Shown at: live-deployment gate

This is the legal wording behind the in-app consent checkbox. Present it per-bot at the moment of enabling live trading, require an affirmative, unticked action, and store a timestamped record. Note: live auto-trading is currently disabled pending regulatory review — this wording applies once the feature is enabled.

Before any bot can place real orders, you must give the explicit authorisation below. It is shown at the live-deployment gate for each bot. Until you give it, the bot runs in paper only.

1. Consent statement (shown in-app)

The following is the text presented at the gate, with a required, un-ticked checkbox and a confirm action:

Enable live trading for “your bot”

By enabling live trading, I confirm that:

  • I authorise this bot to place, modify and cancel orders automatically in my own connected brokerage account (your connected broker account), using the strategy logic, parameters and risk limits I have configured.
  • I understand Vanquish AI provides software only, does not give advice, does not choose trades, and does not hold my funds — my broker executes and holds everything.
  • I understand trading involves risk and I may lose money, including from software errors, outages, latency, slippage and market volatility, and that simulated results do not guarantee future performance.
  • I am solely responsible for this bot's configuration, monitoring and outcomes, and I can pause, stop or kill it and disconnect my broker at any time.
  • I have read the Risk Disclosure, the Not-a-Broker Disclaimer and the Terms of Service.

☐ I have read and agree, and I authorise live trading for this bot.   [ Confirm & go live ]

2. Scope of the authorisation

The authorisation is limited to the specific bot, broker account, and parameters you set. It does not authorise Vanquish AI to act on its own judgement, to trade other accounts, or to move or withdraw funds. Changing a bot's risk-relevant settings or broker may require renewed confirmation.

3. Revoking consent

You can withdraw this authorisation at any time by pausing or stopping the bot, switching it back to paper, using the kill switch, or disconnecting your broker. Revocation takes effect promptly; orders already submitted to your broker may still execute, and you remain responsible for managing open positions in your brokerage account.

4. Record

We store a timestamped record of each live-trading authorisation and revocation (bot, account, version of these terms, time) for security, audit and dispute-handling, as described in the Privacy Policy.
