Risk Disclosure & Trading Disclaimer
Read this before enabling live trading. This disclosure is shown again at the in-app consent gate.
Trading financial instruments and crypto-assets involves substantial risk. You may lose some or all of your capital. Vanquish AI provides software tools only and does not guarantee any outcome. By building, deploying and running bots — especially in live mode — you accept the risks described below.
1. General market risk
Prices can move rapidly and unpredictably. You may lose more than you expect, and past or simulated performance does not indicate or guarantee future results. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose, and consider seeking independent, licensed financial advice before trading.
2. Risks specific to automated trading
- Software & logic errors: bots execute the rules you write. Bugs, mis-configuration, or unintended logic can place unwanted orders or fail to act.
- Outages & connectivity: hosting, network, broker or exchange outages may prevent your bot from trading, updating, or stopping when expected.
- Latency & slippage: orders may fill at prices materially different from those signalled, especially in fast or thin markets.
- Data issues: market-data delays, gaps or errors can cause incorrect signals.
- Broker/API limits: rate limits, rejected orders, margin calls, or broker policy changes can affect execution.
- Unattended operation: automated systems can compound errors quickly while unattended. Monitor your bots and use risk limits and the kill switch.
3. Crypto-asset volatility
Crypto-assets are highly volatile and may trade 24/7 with limited liquidity, sharp gaps, and elevated operational and counterparty risk. Losses can occur rapidly and be severe. Regulatory treatment of crypto-assets varies and may change.
4. Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for your strategy logic, asset selection, sizing, risk limits, the decision to run in paper or live, approving live deployment, and monitoring and stopping your bots. Vanquish AI does not provide advice, does not select trades, and does not act on its own strategy. See our Not-a-Broker / No-Custody Disclaimer.
5. No guarantees
Backtested, simulated and paper-trading results are hypothetical, may not account for all real-world factors, and do not guarantee future performance. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, specific fills, or any profit. To the extent permitted by law, Vanquish AI is not liable for trading losses; see the Terms of Service.
